When the Flavor Tastes a Little Bitter - Linda Jurva

Psalm 147:3 “He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds.”

This is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. You know why? Because when God heals and binds He does it from the inside out.

Perhaps you are reading this today with a broken heart, hurting heart, shattered heart, crushed heart, bitter heart. Let me encourage you to keep on going. God's Word says He healeth the broken in heart.

A few years ago God allowed my heart to go through all of the above. It was a very dark time in my life. The circumstances and the situation were so devastating, I thought how am I going to live through this. One thing I know is that God makes no mistakes in our lives. Everything He takes us through is for our good. God’s Word always has the answer. Psalm 147:3 became my daily medicine. We as humans feel as if we can’t go on, but God says “Yes, you can.” He promises that He will never leave us or forsake us, even when we don’t sense Him in our darkest valley. He bindeth up our wounds. When our Heaven Father binds up our wounds, He does it from the inside out. He takes our hurts and heals them daily with His love and grace. Psalm 68:19 “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah “

God makes no mistakes in our lives. All the hurts, heartaches, trials, and valleys are used for His honor and Glory. He is teaching us to trust Him in ways we’ve never had to. Trust me, I’ve learned how to live in His grace in a way that I never did before. I’ve learned that God’s grace is sufficient no matter what we go through.

Psalm 34:8 “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” God is good all the time; All the time God is good.

Gen.50:20 “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good.”
